In 1968, Dick Laing moved to Binghamton, NY with aspirations of owning his own company and in 1970, Dick & Eleanor Laing opened Dick Laing Diesel Service.

With his can-do attitude coupled with his will to be "the best", Dick Laing expanded his operation to Williamsport, PA opening Dick Laing Diesel Service of Williamsport. With the success of Dick Laing Diesel Service of Binghamton & Williamsport, Dick opened Laing Industries in 1990, a truck & trailer repair facility located in Conklin, NY.

As a child, Dick honed his skill as mechanic on a small family farm in Concordia Kansas. This is where he grew his love for cars.

Over the course of his life, Dick Laing, collected multiple cars including a Fords, Mercedes, & Tesla's!

One of Dick's dreams was to own & operate a car museum for his collection of cars.
